The service

Boardwick (a working product name) is a booking platform for pet care businesses, provided by Patient Thread Ltd, company number 17167409, 9 Harley Street, London W1G 9QY. Businesses manage bookings, customer and pet records, availability, photo updates and invoices; their customers use the platform free of charge through a link the business shares.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for what is done under your account. Business owners control who can register with their business by controlling who receives their booking link, and are responsible for the accuracy of records they create.

Pricing

Businesses pay one flat subscription: £15 per month or £150 per year after a 60-day free trial. During early access the service is free and we will give at least 30 days' notice before billing begins. Customers of businesses never pay Boardwick anything. Prices include VAT where applicable.

Fair use

Use Boardwick lawfully and only for running or booking pet care. Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to access other businesses' data, or abuse notification features. Media uploads are limited per file and stored against specific bookings.

Your data

Each business's data is ringfenced from every other business. How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice. Businesses remain responsible for their own legal obligations to their customers, including any licensing conditions applying to their animal boarding or daycare activities.

Service and liability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided as is, without guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Boardwick is a booking and record tool: decisions about accepting animals, capacity, licensing and animal welfare are the business's own. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees paid for that period.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time; the subscription runs to the end of the paid period. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and will give notice where reasonably possible. On closure, data is handled as described in the privacy notice.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update them; material changes will be notified in the app or by email with reasonable notice.
